The Farm

1822 Farms Black Angus beef operation focuses on sustainable farming from conception to consumption. We use the highest quality genetics to produce wholesome, great tasting beef you can feel good about feeding your family because it feeds ours too. When it comes to beef we know there are lots of choices. Our pasture raised meats provides the highest level nutrition, marbling and taste. We look forward for you to becoming a part of the 1822 Farm experience.

How It Started

Owners Byrd and Anne Cain purchased the 600 acres farm in Williamsport, Tennessee in 2005. Today the multi-generational family farm proudly carries on the tradition Captain Jimmy Gray Robinson started 2 centuries ago. In 2008 their son, Trevor, shifted the focus on building a genetically superior herd from the ground up. During this transition Trevor’s family's love of cooking and a shift in the supply chain led them to expand the business. Today, Trevor and his family work hard to supply their community with superior cattle that are humanely raised on green pastures.
